MAD Dreams Jewelry Designs Medium: Crystal, Gemstones, Pearls and Lampwork beads. Artist Statement: Marilyn Dannehower has been designing and creating unique jewelry for over 20 years. Marilyn grew up on the east coast and studied at the Art Student’s League in New York City. She then lived in Colorado where she made turquoise and silver jewelry. NEW for 2004: Marilyn is creating one of a kind jewelry from her own handmade lampwork beads.

When my mom first saw my jewelry line, she exclaimed "It looks so old fashioned!" I laughed and explained that "vintage" was very stylish, and my favorite look! I use Swarovksi vintage and new crystals to design many of my pieces, and have both vintage designs and modern designs. I also use Semi-precious and precious gemstones, Freshwater and Akoya pearls in my work, AND have a new line of lampwork beads that I make and work into my pieces.
